Review highlights rigour, coherence, and comprehensive scope across Early Years to High School, while noting the curriculum as “the first fully articulated K–12 AI curricula tailored specifically for international schools.”
Dublin, Ireland — February 20th, 2026 — Eblana Learning today announces the publication of an independent curriculum review conducted by the Learnovate Centre at Trinity College Dublin: Eblana Learning AI Curriculum Review (January 2026).
The review assesses the rigour, coherence, and comprehensiveness of Eblana Learning’s AI Curriculum for International Schools, a complete K–12 programme designed to build AI literacy, ethical judgement, and student agency from Early Years through High School.
In the reviewer’s words, the curriculum is “the first fully articulated K–12 AI curricula tailored specifically for international schools.” The review also notes that, while designed with international school values and pedagogies in mind, it is intentionally adaptable and “could be used by other schools in the K-12 sector”.
Selected quotations from the independent review
“The review describes the curriculum as having a “strong conceptual foundation” and a “coherent inquiry-based structure”. It highlights a “thoughtful progression” across age bands, from Early Years into more advanced analytical and ethical reasoning at High School level.
“It also points to the curriculum’s “comprehensive ethical framing”, and notes the strength of the High School units, which position AI “not merely as a technical subject, but as an object of scholarly inquiry”.
“In its comparative market scan, Learnovate reports that “no direct competitor was found in the course of this review”, reinforcing the curriculum’s distinct positioning within the international schools sector at the time of the review.
Rigour, benchmarking, and global relevance
Learnovate’s review followed a structured qualitative methodology, examining the programme across four dimensions: scope and sequence, rigour and placement, thematic coherence, and inquiry progression.
The review situates the curriculum within the wider global AI-in-education landscape and references major international research and guidance, including publications from UNESCO, the OECD, and the International Baccalaureate.
